The Des Moines Farmer’s Market is returning to downtown again this year. The market is a place for Farmer’s to bring in their own crops to sell to the general public. Items sold include arts and crafts, meat, vegies, and of course corn.
According to KCCI.com this year the Farmer’s Market has new pet rules. They are as follows:
- Make sure your dog is on a short leash.
- Keep your pets away from produce and plants.
- Dogs need to be okay with other dogs and children.
- Please understand that not everyone is a dog lover.
- Always clean-up after your pet.
- The market enforces all City of Des Moines pet laws. (KCCI: Farmer’s Market Just Two Weeks Away)
